Stellantis Launches Jeep Wrangler 2024 For European Market
JAKARTA - Stellantis today, September 12, revealed the 2024 Jeep Wrangler for the updated European market.
The model is experiencing few updates on design, technological upgrades in the cabin including safety, maximum off-road capabilities, and surprises with a 2.0 liter non-electrified engine return in certain markets along with 4xe plug-in hybrid variants.
On the company's official website, Japan's Jeep Wrangler 2024 is said to be available in the Sahara and Rubicon variants and will arrive at Europe's Jeep dealers in the first half of 2024.
Both variants have a seven-slot goal that was redesigned which was first introduced to American specification models earlier this year, with different accents for each variant.
Other new features include "antenna steals ready to bulldoze the terrain" integrated into the windshield, 5 new rim selection designs ranging from 17 to 20 inches, and new Anvil exterior colors.
In the latest cabin is the adoption of a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the 5-inch Uconnect infotainment system, replacing the previous 8.4-inch unit and adding more features. Double C-type USB ports on the front row offer faster charging, with up to 7 USB ports (Type A and Type C) for all passengers.
Meanwhile, additional acoustic windshields, thicker carpets, and extra sound damping foam provide a calmer driving comfort, with a 9-principle Alpine premium audio system for entertainment complements.

Jeep claims that Wrangler is equipped with more than 85 active and passive safety features available. The new ones for 2024 are upgraded second row seat belts, structural fixes for side effects, standard side curtain airbags for both rows, and more advanced ADAS systems, including the Drowsy Driver Alert, Lane Departure Warning, and Traffic Sign Information.
Interestingly, previously Stellantis only presented Wrangler European specifications who debuted in 2022 as a 4xe model with only the PHEV variant, and Jeep was predicted to have stopped all pure gasoline-powered models in Europe (except Italy), but now the plan has changed.
For 2024, in order to meet customer demand for traditional powertrains, Stellantis decided to bring back a 2.0 liter non-electrified turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine for selected markets, including Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain.
