After The Declaration, Anies-Cak Imin Will Be The First Applicants For The 2024 Presidential Election To The KPU
TUBAN - Deputy Secretary of the PKB Shura Council Maman Imanul Haq targets the duet of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar to be the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs who register first in the General Election Commission (KPU). "We will register first with the KPU, because we are sure that these are two young, two of them brave. They get prayers and guidance from the elders," said Maman, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 9. Maman explained, no party suspects who is paired with whom, including in terms of the Anies-Muhaimin pair. "It turns out that there is the first pair who declares his name Anies-Muhaimin. Now if Anies-Muhaimin has been deflated like that, we don't have to wait long for the KPU opening," he asserted. However, he said, being the first registrant at the KPU, it does not mean that when the KPU opens registration on the first day, the Anies-Muhaimin pair immediately registers. "Usually, we ask what kind of kiai, yes to win," he said. Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar's association was declared as a presidential-cawapres candidate in Surabaya, last Saturday. The declaration was witnessed directly by NasDem Party Chairperson Surya Paloh, NasDem Party elite and PKB elite. Based on the schedule set by the General Election Commission (KPU) RI, registration of presidential and vice president candidates is scheduled to start on October 19 to November 25, 2023.
