The price of Pertamax Has the Potential to Increase Again, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Mentions the Possibility of People Returning to Using Pertalite
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) predicts that the price of Pertamax Cs will rise again. This is because world oil prices have reached the range of 90 US dollars per barrel.
With this possibility, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources estimates that people will return to using Pertalite.
ESDM Minister Arifin Tasrif said that the increase in crude oil prices would affect the price of Pertamax non-subsidized fuel. So, it will encourage people to use Pertalite.
"The price is high? There really can't be any other source, like it or not, you have to buy from there. That's it, later the Pertamax (price) will be high, so Pertalite will be used again," he said at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Jakarta, on Thursday, September 8.
