VIDEO: This Is BMKG's Prediction About The 2023 Rainy Season
JAKARTA - BMKG predicts that the start of the rainy season in parts of Indonesia this year will occur in November 2023. BMKG Head Dwikorita Karnawati emphasized that the rainy season after the long dry season caused by the El Nino phenomenon will not be evenly distributed throughout Indonesia. Dwikorita explained that the beginning of the rainy season in Indonesia was generally closely related to the shift in east winds or winds from the direction of Australia (Australian monsoons) turning into westerly winds or winds from the direction of the Asian continent (Asian monsoons). This was conveyed by the Head of BMKG Dwikorita Karnawati in a virtual press conference, Friday (8/9). Watch the video below.
