Cak Imin Starts Tour De Wali Songo After Becoming Bacawapres Anies Baswedan
JAKARTA - Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin, who is now the read-up to Anies Baswedan, started the Tour de Wali Songo trip. This tour allowed Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin and a number of PKB administrators to visit the graves of guardians and spreaders of Islam in Java.
"In our belief and Al-Quran, we have mentioned that the fighters actually die, not die (the Quran'an body) (0.26) in fact, they continue to live in the hearts of sanubari Allah and humans. Second, the status of guardians is a complete fighter to death. Wali Songo is the peak of mayorship in Javanese land," said Cak Imin when officially opening Tour de Wali Songo at the PKB DPP, Cikini, Jakarta, Friday 8 September.
Cak Imin further explained that hundreds of guardians who have fought for this nation have given character to this nation and have prevented divisions.
"Imagine Islam coming in from Arabia with its peculiarities that are different from Java, which has no impact," he explained.
According to the General Chairperson of the PKB, Islam is developing in Indonesia without war or conflict, and that is the spirit of Tour de Wali Songo.
"The principle is to unite Indonesia. It's not about religious differences, passion, or belief, but these guardians combine all beliefs in one national unity and integrity, that's the spirit," said Cak Imin.
During the opening, Cak Imin also mentioned the figure of Gus Dur. For him, Gus Dur is also one of the guardians.

"On the other hand, we must continue to be the heirs to their struggle, and this nine-guard, plus one more guardian, Gus Dur, God willing, will become the most contextual guardian because he devoted himself to the nation and its people. Amen," said Cak Imin.
In the historical context, Cak Imin is often associated with the takeover of the National Awakening Party founded by Gus Dur. Although he often denies these allegations, Cak Imin's relationship with Gus Dur's family is considered tense by many parties.
