Getting To Know BMW I7, Luxury Electric Vehicles For The ASEAN 2023 Summit

JAKARTA - BMW joins other manufacturers to provide BMW i7 as an operational vehicle (Sustainable Mobility Partner) used by high-ranking state officials who attended the ASEAN 2023 Summit (KTT) in Jakarta.

It is known that the All New BMW i7 was first introduced in Indonesia in June 2023 and was exhibited at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

"This collaboration is a continuation of our success in providing 13 units iX for the 42nd ASEAN Summit 2023 last month in Labuan Bajo," said BMW Group Indonesia President Director Ramesh Divyanathan in his official statement, Tuesday, September 5.

The luxury electric sedan is equipped with the fifth generation BMW eDrive technology, which allows it to charge from 0 to 80 percent in 38 minutes with a DC fast charging 195 kW. With a battery capacity of 101.7 kWh, i7 xDrive60 Gran Lusso can cover a distance of up to 625 km.

In addition to being emission-free, BMW i7 xDrive60 Gran Lusso has an impressive performance with a double electric motor mounted on the front and back with a power of up to 544 dk and a 745 Nm torque. Thus, making the luxury sedan accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 4.7 seconds.
