President Jokowi Invites ASEAN Leaders To Visit The Strategic Project Equibition
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo invited ASEAN leaders to visit the exhibition of an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative strategic project on the sidelines of the ASEAN 43rd Summit in Jakarta.
This exhibition also emphasizes the spirit of ASEAN to be the center of world economic growth.
The exhibition review activity was carried out after the President officially opened the 2023 ASEAN Indo-Pacific Forum (AIPF) Summit which was held at the Mulia Hotel Ballroom, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 5, as reported by ANTARA.
Exhibitions prepared in areas outside the ballroom are divided into several zones, namely green infrastructure, sustainable financing, digital transformation, and the creative economy.
In each zone, the leaders of the country get a brief explanation of a number of ideas and projects, both those that have been completed and are still in the process of being developed.
In his remarks at the AIPF event, the President said that AIPF was here to turn the rivalry of the Indo Pacific region into a useful concrete cooperation.
The President stated that AIPF is building a culture of cooperation with a formula that is equally profitable without any feeling ostracized.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi in a separate statement said ASEAN's message was very consistent in making the Indo-Pacific region a peaceful, just and prosperous area.
Through AIPF, Retno said that the concept of ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) would be translated into a concrete and inclusive cooperation.
"We want Indo-Pacific to become a peaceful, stable, prosperous, and close-up area through concrete and inclusive cooperation. And once again, all principles from the beginning that ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific translate into AIPF. Earlier, the President had conveyed about the project and the value generated," said the Foreign Minister.
