At The 2023 International Sufi Congress, Ganjar Emphasized Education And The Economy To Become A Fort Of Radicalism
Central Java (Central Java) Governor Ganjar Pranowo emphasized education and the economy as a bastion of Indonesian radicalism in front of 73 international sufi from 38 countries, along with 3,500 domestic scholars who attended.
This was said by Ganjar when attending the opening of the 2023 International Sufi Congress at the Sahid International Convention Center, Pekalongan City, Central Java, Tuesday, August 29.
The International Sufi Congress was opened by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Also present was the Organizing Committee for the International Sufi Congress who is also a member of Watimpres Habib Luthfi bin Yahya and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.
Ganjar said this after reading the agenda of the congress which will discuss four fields. Namely sufi education, economy and sustainable development, media industry and public opinion, as well as the important role of tasawuf in civilization.
"It feels exactly like this is the spirit built by all of us. Namely optimizing the world of education, the economy as a defense to ward off radicalism," said Ganjar at the location.
Ganjar said that the spirit must be done by passing the teachings of the prophet and guardians who live with compassion or generosity. Then spread it in the surrounding environment.
According to Ganjar, this is also in accordance with the eastern culture which always believes that a person's highest peak of spirituality when he gains knowledge in the best ways.
"The science that makes people always filled with love, knowledge that makes a person always in the blanket of Rahman and thehim of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala," said Ganjar.
