Budiman Sudjatmiko Officially Fired By PDIP, Megawati And Hasto Have Signed Letters

PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) officially fired its cadre, Budiman Sudjatmiko. This decision was taken because he clearly gave support to Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate (candidate). Even though it is clear that PDIP nominated Ganjar Pranowo.

Budiman's dismissal was contained in a decision signed by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto. The letter was issued on Thursday, August 24.

"Giving organizational sanctions in the form of dismissal of Budiman Sudjatmiko from the members of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle," reads the letter of dismissal circulating quoted on Thursday, August 24.

The existence of the letter was confirmed by the Chairman of the Honorary Division of the PDIP DPP Komarudin Watubun. He said this letter was a court recommendation held by the PDIP DPP Disciplinary Committee on Monday, August 21.

"The Disciplinary Committee session has issued recommendations to the DPP since Monday," Komarudin said when confirmed.

Komarudin did not want to talk much about Budiman's dismissal. He admitted that he was traveling to Maluku and Papua to consolidate to win PDIP presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo.

In addition, he is busy arranging the registration of temporary legislative candidates (DCS) in the two regions. "About the sanctions imposed, it can be checked only at the DPP secretariat," he said.

For information, Budiman openly stated that he supports Prabowo Subianto's candidacy. In fact, PDIP cadres have an obligation to win Ganjar.

Meanwhile, Budiman has spoken about the possibility of his dismissal. He said it would be better if he married instead of moving to another party.

This is because Budiman likens his relationship with PDIP to a couple. So it is natural that losing his partner will go through a long period of mourning.

"I might consider being single first," said Budiman, quoted on Wednesday, August 23.

"Yes, it's like a new person has lost his life partner, he has to go through a long period of mourning, it must be mourning. How not mourning, I have been campaigning PDI since grade 6 elementary school," he said.

Even so, he thinks of other options if after menjomblo cannot return to the party bearing the bull symbol. Including, joining other parties.

"After that, we'll see if maybe after a few years of my mistakes I can register again (to PDIP)," the former activist told reporters.
