BeReal Change Feed Discovery With Feed Friends Of Friends
JAKARTA - BeReal, rival social media platform TikTok announced the launch of the Friends of Friends feed, which it says will make it easier to find people on BeReal.
"With a new pass, you will glimpse what everyone knows to in all their authentic glory," the company wrote in an announcement on its official website on Monday, August 21.
So, the new Friends of Friends feed has now been rolled out globally for all users. With this update, you will be able to choose if you want to share BeReal with your friends as usual or share them on the Friends of Friends feed.

If you want to post Real on Friends of Friends feed, you just need to tap the audience option and select the My Friends + Their Friends option. No need to worry because you can change that option at any time via Settings.
This Feed Friends of Friends is actually a replacement feed for the Discovery feed, where you can see posts from strangers who are not friends with you.

"We like to experiment, and Discovery Feed is something that doesn't work enough. Now users can explore posts from people who are already in their close circle orbit," the company added.
Not only that, BeReal also brings several other updates such as the ability to embed up to 3 BeReals in your profile, and the ability to name friends in BeReal's caption by typing @ is followed by a full name or username BeReal.
In addition, BeReal will also allow you to see friends' advice across apps based on who has interacted with you on BeReal.
