UI Student Invite To GIIAS 2023, Honda Reveals Marketing Strategy

The 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), as APM Honda, shared several valuable experiences with students who visited ICE BSD, Tangerang.

PT HPM invites students from the University of Indonesia (UI) to the Honda booth on August 18, 2023. Here, HPM provides various knowledge related to marketing events and strategies.

Honda took advantage of the GIIAS 2023 event as a means of interacting directly with consumers. This makes Honda invite 36 UI students to have the opportunity to engage and discuss with Honda practitioners in the field of marketing strategies.

Communication Strategy Senior Manager of PT HPM, Yulian Karfili, said that his party invited students to be a form of Honda's commitment to be involved in the education and development of the marketing industry in the automotive realm.

"We hope that through this activity, students can see firsthand how marketing strategies are implemented on a large scale, including in event management, public relations management and the use of digital technology," said Yulian in his statement, Friday, August 18.

During his visit to the Honda booth, the UI student gained insight as a provision to be applied in the world of work in the future.

Honda provides knowledge that includes various aspects such as managing media relationships with the public, making effective use of social media, and compiling events comprehensively.

This is not the only collaboration created by Honda with the University of Indonesia. Previously, PT HPM collaborated with the University of Indonesia (UI) in the field of education and electrification technology research at the UI Convention Center.

In this collaboration, Honda loaned two units of Honda e electric car, one unit of Honda PCX Electric motorcycle, and one unit of Honda LiB-AID e500 power product to support mobility in the learning environment at UI.

Honda also provides an EV charging station to charge the Honda e battery. They also provided an environmentally friendly car unit, Honda Brio, as a research tool for UI Engineering students.

This collaboration is in line with Honda's global commitment to address environmental problems by achieving carbon neutrality in all company products and activities starting in 2050.
