Rolls-Royce's First Electric Car, Spectre Coupe 2024 Will Make Debut At Monterey Car Week
JAKARTA - The first fully electric model in the history of Rolls-Royce, Spectre couple, will make its North American debut at the Monterey Car Week event.
Referred to as the world's first luxury super electric couple, Rolls-Royce Spectre will make its public debut in the US at the event "The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering" on August 18.
Spectre is the manufacturer's first step towards fully electric by the end of 2030. This luxury electric car is a four-seater car, with the rear compartment designed to comfort passengers in a luxurious "art lounge".
During Monterey Car Week, Rolls-Royce Bespoke will introduce Morganite's new color collection, which is named after a rare gemstone.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre on display at Monterey has a black two-layer Aero over the Morganite, a 23-inch wheel with seven partially polished markers, and a Cashmere interior with Scivaro Gray in the spotlight and Ossidian Ayous wood.
Interestingly, Rolls-Royce also made their debut from Starlight Doors and illuminated fascia in this car. Illuminated fascia has 5,500 stars surrounding brand names, while Starlight Doors adds 4,796 "stars" that illuminate the inside of the car, as reported by Motor1, August 14.
Rolls-Royce Spectre also introduces the spirit of a fully redesigned digital architecture that it says could connect clients with their cars more closely than ever before.

Built on this brand's "Architecture of Luxury", Spectre is claimed to provide the quietest "magic carpet ride" experience of Rolls-Royce. Meanwhile, a battery with a capacity of 102 KwH weighing up to 700 kilograms will provide a Spectre range of about 417 kilometers with a single charge.
The battery powers two electric motors - one on each axis - which generates a total power of 584 dk and a torque of 900 Nm, enough to accelerate 0-100 km in a time of 4.4 seconds.
The price starts at 420,000 US dollars or nearly IDR 6.5 billion. Spectre's debut in North America on Monterey will be attended by President Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA, Martin Fritsches, and Global Chief Executive Officer, Torsten M\"uller-Oytvoes.
