Manokwari Residents Start To Get Compensation For Sanggeng Market Development And Borarsi RTP, Parts Of The Land Has Not Been Validated
WEST PAPUA - The Manokwari Regency Government (Pemkab) has begun to pay compensation for land for residents affected by the construction of Sanggeng Market and the Bolarsi public open space (RTP).
"Let's support the local government and ensure that the construction of Sanggeng Market and the Borarsi RTP can be carried out properly so that Manokwari progresses from other regions in Indonesia," said the Regent of Manokwari, Hermus Indou, when he witnessed firsthand the initial process of paying the compensation in Manokwari, West Papua, Wednesday, August 9, which was confiscated by Antara.
Although not all land parcel owners at the location can be validated, Hermus hopes that the affected residents will immediately carry out administrative management so that compensation is immediately paid.

Wanto explained, the value of compensation paid to the public is in accordance with the calculation of the Public Appraisal Service Office (KJPP). The deadline for payment of compensation is no later than next year.
Head of the land acquisition section of the Manokwari Land Office, Williany F Alfons explained, only two land parcel owners were paid today. Other residents are asked to immediately submit proof of land ownership to be matched immediately between the name and size of the land parcel so that the government can immediately make payments.
The compensation payment is calculated based on the parcels of land and buildings or objects attached above or underground, such as plants, wells, to septic tanks are also calculated, "said Williany.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Catholic Education and School Foundation (YPPK) Manokwari, Yosep Yan Karmadi, represented the Manokwari Diocese whose land was affected, stated that his party was ready to support government programs.
