With Rp1.52 Billion In Cash, Beyonce Makes Trains In Concert Areas Add Operational Hours

JAKARTA - Beyoncé paid 100 thousand US dollars (equivalent to Rp1.52 billion) so that the train service increased its operating hours so that fans who watched the concert could return safely.

In a series of Renaissance world tours in Washington DC on the evening of July 6, bad weather resulted in the concert being postponed and late.

As a result, many fans are at risk of having difficulty getting public transportation because they stopped operating that night.

Beyonce then paid Rp1.52 billion to open the service for an extra hour so fans could go home.

When the show ended, city Metro services announced that their Silver Line would increase operating time by an hour.

"A service funded by Tur to cover a cost of 100 thousand US dollars for running more trains, keeping the 98 stations open to outgoing customers and other operational costs," Metro explained as quoted by NME, Tuesday.

"The extension of time means #BeyHive can stay for 'Party' and still be able to go home with Metro," they added.
