Bank Raya Earns IDR 9.3 Billion Profit In Semester I 2022

JAKARTA - PT Bank Raya Indonesia Tbk (AGRO) posted positive financial performance in the first semester of 2023.

The company continues to focus on quality and sustainable business growth. Bank Raya recorded consistent growth, with a net profit before tax of Rp126.7 billion, an increase of 17.88 percent (yoy) from the previous year of Rp107.5 billion. So that in June 2023 Bank Raya recorded a net profit of Rp9.3 billion.

Several financial ratios showed positive performance in June 2023, as reflected in the improved BOPO ratio to 80.86% compared to the same period the previous year of 82.99 percent.

Credit quality also improved, as seen from gross non-performing loans (NPL) to 4.35 percent compared to the same period the previous year, which was 5.96 percent, and net NPL which was maintained at 1.75 percent. Bank Raya's liquidity condition is also still maintained as seen from the RIM ratio of 84.15 percent and LDR 73.77 percent.

The focus of digital business performance was marked by a 23.71 percent increase in digital lending (yoy) so that Bank Raya's digital loans were recorded at Rp806.5 billion, an increase from the previous year, namely Rp651.9 billion. The growth of Bank Raya's digital loan product cannot be separated from the strengthening of Bank Raya's cooperation with the BRI ecosystem through loan products Pinang Dana Tanangangan and Pinang Flexi.

Pinang Dana Payang supports the productivity of BRILink Agents throughout Indonesia through easy access to productive loans. The growth of Pinang Dana Tanang was recorded at 72.31 percent (yoy) with a total outstanding of IDR 176.9 billion (yoy). Meanwhile, Pinang Flexi, a multipurpose digital loan for permanent employees who have payroll accounts at BRI and Bank Raya, recorded a growth of 84.54 percent (yoy) with a total outstanding of IDR 179.3 billion (yoy).

These two products are a form of strengthening synergy with the BRI Group ecosystem to support Bank Raya's business growth. In addition to working on the BRI ecosystem, optimizing several digital loan products such as financial financing through Pinang Maksima and Pinang Performa digital loan products continues.

Along with the growth of digital loans, digital saving also recorded a strong growth of 135.55 percent (yoy) to Rp729.4 billion. This growth is also seen in the number of users which continues to increase to more than 750 thousand CIFs.

Penggunaan aplikasi Raya untuk fitur pembayaran juga tumbuh positif. Transaksi nasabah yang telah menggunakan Aplikasi Raya untuk transaksi keuangan sehari-hari mencapai 122,700 kali transaksi dan diharapkan dapat terus meningkat dari waktu ke waktu.

This growth is inseparable from the innovation of features in the Raya application which includes transfers, payments (QRIS, e-wallet, credits, and KAI ticket purchases, PLN payments, cardless cash withdrawals, Virtual Accounts, cash deposits at BRILink agents throughout Indonesia).

Bank Raya President Director Ida Bagus Ketut Subagia said, seeing the good growth trend in the digital business, this further encourages the acceleration of business performance that is already on track.

The results of synergies with the BRI ecosystem are also increasingly evident with the ease of transactions for Bank Raya customers throughout Indonesia such as deposits and cash withdrawals of more than 650 thousand BRILink Agents, cardless cash withdrawals at more than 21 thousand BRI ATMs, as well as cash withdrawals at more than 20 thousand Indomaret outlets using the Raya application.
