Today, KPK Examines Zumi Zola in the Bribery Case of Jambi DPRD Ratification
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined former Jambi Governor Zumi Zola today, Tuesday, August 1. Investigators will ask for his testimony as a witness in the bribery case for the ratification of the Jambi Provincial RAPBD for the 2017 fiscal year.
"The examination was carried out at the KPK Office," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Monday, August 1.
Ali has not detailed the material for the examination. However, the witnesses examined are suspected of knowing the alleged bribery that ensnared many members of the Jambi Provincial DPRD.
In this case, the KPK again detained one suspect in the bribery case for the ratification of the RAPBD or the money for the ratification in Jambi Province on Monday, July 24. This time it was the turn of former Jambi DPRD member, Kusnindar.
Kusnindar will languish behind bars until August 12. Investigators will be able to extend their detention period as long as needed.

The Kusnindar case is the development of the previous case that ensnared former Jambi Governor Zumi Zola. A total of 28 suspects were named as suspects by the KPK.
The KPK suspects that the suspects received bribes of around IDR 100 million to IDR 400 million. The goal is to pass the budget draft in Jambi Province.
