BMW Launches X1 Refreshment For The Indonesian Market
JAKARTA - PT BMW Group Indonesia, a BMW brand agency (APM) in Indonesia, is proud to introduce one of their newest models of Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV), namely BMW The X1.
The version that is present in Indonesia is an entry-level type of several X1 variants. Even though it is the lowest SAV, this BMW The X1 brings various interesting changes.
"Even though we are in the SUV entry level segment, we do not reduce the quality of the features, technology, and luxury in this car," said Ramesh Divyanathan, President Director of BMW Group Indonesia, at the launch of the BMW X1 at Langham Hotel, SCBD, Jakarta, on Friday., July 28.
This latest BMW X1 is experiencing a refresh on the exterior and interior. The exterior features a firm and premium impression typical of this latest X1.
Although not too different overall to its predecessor, the larger grip gives a new touch to its front look. The side side of the car features a strong impression with BMW's signature SAV design.
New rims with black high gloss accents on the ferry also provide fresh nuances. Front lights that focus on showing a fierce face are increasingly adding to the impression of sporty in X1.
Interior X1 also underwent changes by adding an iDrive control button and a more spacious cabin room. The simpler cabin design makes users feel at home in this car, especially during long trips.
The cabinet is also designed more practically with the use of seat control to electrically adopted parking brake. Small storage space is also provided at the bottom of the center console.
On the engine side, the latest BMW X1 is equipped with a 1.5 liter 3-cylinder engine capable of generating up to 156 dk of power and 230 Nm of torque, allowing X1 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 9 seconds.
Interestingly, this BMW X1 will be assembled locally at the BMW Production Network 2 Motor Style, Sunter, North Jakarta.
As a premium vehicle, the latest BMW X1 is priced starting from Rp877 million Off The Road DKI Jakarta.
