Not Yet One Year, A Total Of 200,000 Hunter Units 350 Sold Globally
JAKARTA - Royal Enfield launched Hunter 350 in the global market in August 2022 in Thailand. This model is considered the most versatile and affordable variant ever produced by manufacturers.
Hunter 350 is built on the same platform as Meteor and Classic 350, but offers a more neutral driving position. This means that Hunter can easily be used to commute in the city or enjoy trips on winding roads in the mountains.
This motorcycle is powered by an air-cooled one-cylinder engine with a capacity of 349cc, which produces 20 Nm of power at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The maximum speed of the motor is claimed to reach 114 km/hour. And for the Indonesian market, Hunter 350 is priced at IDR 108.2 million (OTR Jakarta).
With all the specifications on offer, Hunter 350 has proven to be favored by the global market. In less than a year, Royal Enfield managed to sell a total of 200,000 Hunter 350 units worldwide. It only took Royal Enfield seven months to reach the sales figure of the first 100,000 units for Hunter, and less than five months to reach the next 100,000 sales figure, signaling demand for this light retro force roadster has not slowed down.
Through a press release issued by Royal Enfield, quoted from Rideapart, July 28, Hunter 350 experienced high demand in the Indian market, as well as other key markets in the Asia Pacific region, including Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand. Meanwhile, this motorcycle has also achieved great success in South American countries such as Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico, as well as in European markets such as Germany, Italy, France, and the UK.
" Hunter 350's success in the global market, exceeding the number of 200,000 units sold in a short time, is proof of the enthusiasm and dedication of our team. Hunter's appeal lies in its versatility, attracting motorists from various professional backgrounds. We are very pleased to see its rapid growth, not only in India, but also throughout Asia Pacific, Europe, and South America. This achievement further strengthens our commitment to providing motorcycles that are attractive and easily accessible to fans around the world," said B. Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield, quoted from Indiatimes, July 25.
