Jambi Police Confiscate 2.35 Kilograms Of Methamphetamine
JAMBI - The Directorate of Drug Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) of the Jambi Police confiscated 2.35 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 14 pills of ecstasy and 0.78 kilograms of marijuana from June 14 to July 22, 2023.
Ditresnarkoba Jambi Police Kombes Thomas Panji Susbandaru said the entire confiscated drug evidence came from eight drug abuse cases that were successfully uncovered.
"The evidence came from nine suspects, consisting of eight men and one woman," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 26.
The nine suspects are RK, RR, ED, HR, PR, FR, MY, SW and DD.
If one gram of crystal methamphetamine can be used for five people, then the life saved is 11,742 lives. If one gram of marijuana is used for four people, then the life saved is 315 people.
Meanwhile, if one ecstasy pill is used for one person, the life saved is 14 people. So the total life saved is 12,071.
Furthermore, if one gram of crystal methamphetamine gets an economic value of IDR 1.3 million, then economically the evidence of methamphetamine reaches IDR 3.05 billion.

Meanwhile, the evidence for one kilogram of marijuana received an economic value of IDR 1 million, so the total value of the evidence for marijuana was economically IDR 78 thousand.
Meanwhile, if 1 ecstasy pill gets an economic value of IDR 250 thousand, then the total value of evidence of ecstasy pills is economically IDR 3.5 million.
So that the total economic value is IDR 3,056 billion.
Thomas Panji said of the eight cases, five cases were in Jambi City and three other cases were from Muaro Jambi, West Tanjab and Bungo.
