The Fraud Case Of Fake QRIS Tempel Mode At The Istiqlal Mosque Which Was Viral Will Soon Be Tried
Polda Metro Jaya has transferred the file and suspect of a fake QRIS mode fraud case named Mohammad Iman Mahlil Lubis (MIML) to the South Jakarta District Attorney (Kejari). The suspect will be tried soon.
"Investigators have submitted phase II to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office, on behalf of the MIML suspect," said Director of Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak in his statement, Wednesday, July 26.
The delegation of MIML on Tuesday, July 25, after investigators completed the preparation of case files. Then, the research prosecutor has also stated that there are no shortcomings, both formal and material.
Meanwhile, MIML's fake QRIS action went viral on social media. At that time, he acted at the Istiqlal Mosque.

Shortly thereafter, the figure of MIML could be arrested. From the results of the examination, he has launched his actions at 38 points, from places of worship to the medical center.
"From the several places that have been affixed by him, there are 38 points," said Brigadier General Auliansyah Lubis, Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police at the time.
Thus, in this case MIML is charged with Article 28 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 45A paragraph (1) and or Article 35 in conjunction with Article 51 paragraph (1) of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions
Then, Article 80 and/or Article 83 of Law Number 3 of 2011 concerning Fund Transfers and/or Article 378 of the Criminal Code.
