Kompolnas Regarding Aipda M: Busuk Fruit Must Be Dumped
JAKARTA - The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) assesses that Aipda M does not need to be forgiven for his involvement in the Cambodian network of Trafficking Crimes (TPPO) case. In fact, the Police are recommended to immediately fire him.
"We are very concerned that there are still unscrupulous members of the National Police who are involved in obstructing the legal process against TIP criminals. There is no mercy for such people in the police," Kompolnas Commissioner Poengky Indarti said in his statement, Saturday, July 22.
The sanction of dismissal is deemed appropriate for Aipda M. Because, he has obstructed the investigation process of the TIP syndicate that sells kidney organs.
"We encourage those concerned to be subject to dismissal. The person concerned must be prosecuted with a maximum sentence of one-third because the person concerned as a police officer should enforce the law, not even obstruct the legal process," he said.
In fact, Poengky assessed that Aipda M should be removed from the Police. His actions have tarnished the image of the Bhayangkara Corps as law enforcement officers.
"The rotten fruit in the basket must be thrown away. If it is maintained it will transmit rot to others," said Poengky.
Aipda M is one of 12 suspects in the Cambodian network TIP case that sells human organs. Aipda M is said to have received hundreds of millions of money from the syndicate.
"The person concerned received Rp612 million," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Hengki Haryadi.

Aipda M received the money by lying to the suspects. He admitted that he could discuss it so that the handling of the case would not be processed.
In addition, from a series of examination processes, Aipda M was also involved in the obstruction of the investigation. Because, he ordered the perpetrators to change places so as not to be arrested.
"Aipda M, these are members who try to prevent, obstruct, either directly or indirectly the investigation process carried out by the joint team, namely by ordering them to throw away cellphones, moving places, the point is to avoid pursuit from the police," said Hengki.
