Marcus Rashford Contract Extension 5 Years At MU
JAKARTA - Marcus Rashford has signed a five-year contract extension with Manchester United, the British giants said on their official website on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old forward whose previous contract expires next year is a United academy product. He has now recorded 123 goals from 359 appearances with the Red Devils' first team.
"I joined Manchester United as seven-year-old children with dreams. Renjana, pride and determination for the same success still encourages me every time I have the honor to wear this shirt," Rashford said, quoting Antara, Wednesday.
"I've had a number of amazing experiences at this amazing club, but there's still a lot to be achieved and I'm still tireless of winning more trophies in the years to come."
Rashford broke the 30-goal hurdle for the first time in his United career last season under manager Erik Ten Hag. At that time he helped United win the Premier League Cup to end the club title fast for six years.

United director of football John Murtough said Rashford's new contract was a deal that benefited both sides.
"When he enters his prime times, we know there are still a lot of goals he can give and we can see Rashford's hunger to reach the highest level of success here with Manchester United," Murtough said.
"Working with Erik Ten Hag and his coaches is the perfect environment for Marcus to continue to develop himself, to be one of the best attacking players in the world," he concluded.
