Tour De Borobudur 2023 Again Held, Participants Promised A Memesona View
UNGARAN - Tour de Borobudur was held again for the 23rd time. Carrying the theme Unity in Diversion, this event will last for two days, namely on August 5-6.
The first day of Tour de Borobudur XXIII 2023 will present a challenging route, starting from Surakarta and through Pluupuh, Sragen, Botok Reservoir, Kemuning Tea Garden, as well as extreme inclines at Cetho Temple.
After that, the participants will continue their journey through Karangpandan and Karanganyar, before finally finishing at Taman Pracima Tuin at Mangkunegaran Temple.
The total distance that will be taken by participants on the first day is 113.7 km. This challenging route will test the skills and resilience of participants, as well as present beautiful views along the way
The second day of Tour de Borobudur XXIII 2023 will be a fun day with the favorite route for racing bike lovers. This route will pass through some beautiful tourist destinations on a journey of 103 km.
The participants will start the journey from Surakarta, across Klaten and Sleman, before finally ending up in Borobudur Temple, Magelang.
The stunning view and fresh air will accompany all the way, providing an unforgettable experience for those who participate. This was conveyed by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, ensuring that cyclists would be treated to a new route with beautiful views.

"First, I want to thank the committee, which Tour de Borobudur has been running for 23 years. Indeed, for the last 8 years I have tried to support it. At that time it was not only about organizing events but we carried out a sport tourism mission," he continued.
He revealed that sport tourism is getting busy and many other areas have the same activities. This makes many people spoiled with beautiful views.
"This is part of the way we manage events so that our tourism grows, we can provide talented athletes with space to compete. We can note so that they can compete in higher places to world class," he said.
