Playing A Role In Presenting Environmentally Friendly Energy, Wuling Air Ev Again Wins Award

JAKARTA - Since 2017, Wuling Motors, an automotive company from China, has gained popularity in the Indonesian automotive market. They continue to launch various models to meet the mobility needs of the Indonesian people.

Several models that have been present from Wuling Motors to compete in the Indonesian market are Conference, Cortez, Formo, Almaz, and their first electric vehicle in Indonesia, namely the Wuling Air EV.

Recently, Wuling Air EV won another award in Indonesia. This compact car was named the Green Product of The Year at the 2023 Sustainable Marketing Excellence (SME) event given by Marchairs.

Brian Gomgom, Public Relations Manager of Wuling Motors, revealed that this is an achievement that deserves appreciation for Wuling Air EV who has received a positive response since its launch last year.

"We hope that this award will motivate Wuling to continue to strengthen our commitment to providing environmentally friendly mobility for consumers in Indonesia, in line with the spirit of 'Drive For A Green Life' carried by Wuling Air EV," Brian said in his official statement on Thursday, July 13.

The SME 2023 award organized by Mardekers is given to companies, brands, institutions, or organizations that have succeeded in applying sustainability principles in their marketing strategies and have a real impact on society.

This is not the first time Wuling Air EV has won an award in Indonesia. Previously, Wuling's first electric car in Indonesia had won several awards, such as Best User Friendsly Electric Car from the 2023 SBBI Award, Indonesia Automotive Industry Leader 2022 Category Electric Vehicle, Rookie of the Year Automotive Award 2023, and Marchairs OMNI Channel Brands of the Year 2023.

Wuling Air EV comes in two variants, namely Standard Range and Long Range. The Standard Range variant is equipped with a lithium-ion 17.3 kWh battery which is able to cover a distance of up to 200 km with one full charge. Meanwhile, the Long Range variant has a lithium-ion 26.7 kWh battery capable of traveling a distance of up to 300 km with one full charge.

Thanks to its reliability and advanced technology, Wuling Air EV is trusted to transport delegates from various countries at the G20 2022 Summit in Bali and the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, NTT.
