Undergoing Rehab, Liam Payne Apologizes For Bad Talk About Zayn Malik
JAKARTA - Liam Payne apologized for his comments in several podcasts that made the public respond negatively. He also explained that he had been undergoing rehabilitation in Louisiana for 100 days which was revealed in a video entitled I'm back.
Uploaded on July 8, the video contains an explanation from Liam Payne who admits to taking a break from the entertainment industry for his mental health.
"I need a little time for myself actually, because I became someone I didn't realize," Liam Payne said in his video.
"And I'm sure you guys feel it too. I was in a bad position up to that point and I was happy to be able to stop my job and my life for a while," he continued.
The One Direction member did not use the phone during his 100-day rehabilitation. He did not communicate with the outside world during that period but was nervous when turning on his phone.
On that occasion, Liam Payne also explained a statement regarding Zayn Malik who chose to leave One Direction. In 2022, Payne shocked fans after he said he did not like Zayn Malik.

Liam Payne made the statement in the broadcast with Logan Paul and he said he was sorry for making the statement.
For me, I think a lot of words I came out came from the wrong position. I was very angry with what was going on around me, so instead of looking at myself, I looked outside," Liam Payne said.
"I want to apologize for that," he said again.
Payne said that in the midst of his deteriorating condition, One Direction members, including Zayn Malik, supported him.
"The members really support me. When I need them, they exist, even Zayn too," he said.
At the same time, Liam Payne will prepare for an American tour starting next September. He felt his condition had improved and he would return to continue what had stalled.
Liam Payne last released a single Sunshine which was asked to be the soundtrack for the film Ron's Gone Wrong while the single release was Naughty List with Dixie DAmelio.
