One Victim Dragged By The Waves Of The Malang Long Bridge Found Dead In Tulungagung
One of the five people who were dragged by the waves at Jembatan Panjang, Bantar District, Malang Regency, I Made Indraprastha, was found dead at Popoh Beach, Tulungagung Regency, East Java. Coordinator of the Surabaya Basarnas Team Nur Hadi said the bodies of the victim, who was one of the tour guides, were found by a joint team and the Popoh Fisherman Association.
"The joint SAR team and the Popoh Fishermen's Association found one body at the location (Popoh Beach, ed)," he said as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 11.Nur Hadi explained that out of a total of five victims who were swept away by the current, two were found safe, while the other died. The search currently leaves two tourists who have been swept away by the waves on Panjang Bridge Beach, since Saturday (8/7). The joint SAR team carried out the search for victims being dragged by the waves using a jukung boat and carried out ground monitoring on the coast in the southern region. "The joint SAR team carried out a search for victims who had not been found. Search was carried out in the sea using a jukung boat, and land monitoring," he said. The victim's family saw signs or characteristics attached to the body.
