Bareskrim Will Check Bukhori Yusuf Again Regarding The Case Of Domestic Violence Of Siri's Wife

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police will examine the former PKS legislator, Bukhori Yusuf. The examination was related to the alleged domestic violence (KDRT) case against his wife, MY.

"Furthermore, BY will be invited back for questioning," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Nurul Azizah to reporters, Friday, July 7.

Regarding the time of the examination, it is not certain. Nurul said that later investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police would schedule it.

So far, only 10 witnesses, including Bukhori Yusuf, have been questioned. The former PKS legislator was first examined at the end of June 2023.

"Until now, examinations have been carried out on 10 witnesses including BY's brother," said Nurul.

In addition, the father of the wife of Siri Bukhori Yusuf has also been questioned. The examination was carried out on Tuesday, June 4.

"An examination of brother S as the victim's parent on suspicion of the domestic violence case against the victim, namely my sister," said Nurul.

Bukhori Yusuf was originally reported by MY to the Bandung Police in November 2022. Over time, Bareskrim took over the investigation of the case on May 9, 2023.
