Khatib Eid Al-Adha In Makassar Says Different Views Will Not Make Us Divided
MAKASSAR - It was recorded that as many as 25 points were spread across Makassar City and Gowa Regency and in other districts to perform Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijri prayers today.
"Muslims in South Sulawesi spread across 25 regencies/cities on Wednesday (28/3) carry out Eid prayers at the location that has been prepared by the committee," said South Sulawesi Muhammadiyah Chairman Prof. Dr H Ambo Esse, M.AG in Makassar.
He explained specifically in Makassar City and Gowa Regency, there are at least 25 points that are locations for Eid prayers. In other regencies/cities, there are 10 to 20 points each.
He said the choice of Muhammadiyah residents who carried out Eid al-Adha on Wednesday (28/6) was full of enthusiasm for sacrifice, as exemplified by Prophet Ismail AS and his father Prophet Ibrahim AS.
Meanwhile, those who are preachers at the designated location for Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijri prayers have been coordinated with the South Sulawesi Muhammadiyah Secretariat.
The implementation of id prayers for Muhammadiyah residents apart from the field, there are also a number of Muhammadiyah mosques that are opened for the implementation of id prayers.
One of the fields that functions to accommodate worshipers for worship is Hasanuddin University (Unhas) Baraya Square, Makassar.
Acting as Khatib are Drs Hambali, S.Pd, M. Hum. On that occasion he appealed to the congregation to imitate Prophet Ismail As and Prophet Ibrahim As who had sincere, daring to sacrifice and "tawadhu".
