JAKARTA Representatives from the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) speak in front of hundreds of masses from the Islamic Brotherhood Front (FPI). He said that in the near future the government and related parties will make a decision whether Al Zaytun is closed or not. However, there is something that the public needs to know about Al Zaytun. In front of the Ministry of Religion office, Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, hundreds of people from FPI asked the government to close the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School and take action against its leader, Panji Gumilang. Representatives from the Ministry of Religion also climbed onto the command car after meeting with religious leaders, kyai and habaib.
