Remembering Desmond's Figure, Ganjar: We Often Collide In Politics, But Together For The People

JAKARTA - Sad news enveloped politics in the country. Gerindra Party politician Desmond Junaedi Mahesa passed away on Saturday, June 24. Condolences for the deaths of the 98 activists continue to flow. One of them is from the 2024 Presidential Candidate from PDIP, Ganjar Pranowo.

"Yes, I just heard the news. Innalillahi wa innailaihi rojiun, I am on behalf of myself and my family, sorry. Hopefully the late Mr. Desmond's sins are forgiven and all his deeds of worship are accepted by Allah SWT," said Ganjar while greeting the traders. Pasar Warakas Tanjung Priok, Saturday, June 24.

Ganjar, who is currently in Jakarta, said he would take the time to visit the funeral home. Because, Desmond continued, Ganjar was a friend who had been in touch for a long time.

"God willing, I want to take a break there because I have known him for a long time. I have an impression because when there were several problems in Central Java he came alone, met me twice and then found a solution," he recalled.

In Ganjar's eyes, Desmond is a good person. He can communicate well and always be present to solve problems in society.

"We are different parties, we often collide in political attitudes and we are different in political attitudes. But in the interests of the community, we often work together and have dialogues. Hopefully Husnul Khotimah," he concluded.

Just so you know, Gerindra party politician Desmond Junaedi Mahesa passed away on Saturday, June 24. Based on information received, Desmond died at Mayapada Hospital, Jakarta.

The news was confirmed by the daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, who revealed that Desmond died after being hospitalized yesterday.

"He had indeed been admitted to Mayapada Hospital since yesterday and had already passed away at 04.00 am," said Dasco.
