Note! No Odd-Even During Eid Holiday 2023

JAKARTA - The odd-even traffic engineering (gage) was not enforced in Jakarta during the long holiday of Eid al-Adha 2023 or to be precise from June 28 to July 2. The reason is that the vehicle restriction scheme does not apply during the national holiday.

"Anyway, the national holiday. Indeed, there is no gage. We just follow it according to the provisions," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman to reporters, Friday, June 23.

The imposition of gage during the long holiday of Eid al-Adha 2023 is based on existing regulations. Where, the scheme is only applied during weekdays or Monday to Friday.

Then, the gage scheme is also not enforced during weekends and national holidays.

"Together, the national holiday is determined by the government. Yes (five holidays) is a national holiday," said Latif.

The government through the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Three Ministers set June 28 and 30, 2023 as a joint leave for Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijri/2023 AD.

Meanwhile, June 29, 2023 is a national holiday to commemorate Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijri/2023 AD.
