WhatsApp Users Now Have An Unknown Phone Bisukan Feature And New Privacy Check
JAKARTA - WhatsApp adds a new line of security features to protect its users, namely Unidentified Phone Bisukan and Privacy Check.
In the Unidentified Phone Bisukan feature, it is designed to provide greater privacy and control users with incoming calls.
While the app has end-to-end encryption, it's a foundation that ensures user calls and messages are secure, but the new feature is an additional layer of privacy for users.
Unknown Phone Bisukan Features help filter spam, fraud, and calls from unknown persons automatically to increase protection.
When activating this feature, the call won't ring on the user's phone, but it will still be visible on the Call list, as it could be that the call comes from someone important.
Furthermore, WhatsApp also introduced the Privacy Check feature to help ensure everyone knows about the protection options in the Meta-owned app.
VOIR éGALEMENT:
This feature will guide users to understand important privacy settings to help them choose the right level of protection, all in one place, as quoted from the company's official blog, Wednesday, June 21.
By choosing To Start checking in Privacy settings, users will be guided through several layers of privacy that strengthen the security of messages, calls, and personal information. Both features will be rolled out today globally.
For information, WhatsApp has previously launched the Lock Chat feature to protect sensitive chats with passwords, Temporary Messages that will disappear automatically, screenshot blocking for Once View, and the ability to keep users' online private.
