Clown Withdraws Again From Slipknot Tour Due To His Wife's Health Condition

JAKARTA - Shawn "Clown" Crahan withdrew from the rest of his European tour and the Slipknot festival show this month due to his wife's "medical situation".

The Slipknot politician gave news to fans via Slipknot's official Twitter account on June 18 yesterday.

He confirmed he would no longer perform this June, but intends to return for a short-term show in July.

"Unfortunately I have to go back home to be with my wife because of her medical condition," Clown started his message.

"Thank you for the incredible support for some of the shows I can make. I'm so sorry to miss the rest of this show, I'm so looking forward to being there."

"As usual, I am very grateful for your extraordinary support for our family. I will see you at our event in July. See you later and greetings Slipknot."

Earlier this month, the musician was also forced to leave a number of Slipknot concerts due to his wife's health condition.

"I want to take a moment to tell everyone I'm back home supporting my wife through some health problems, and I'll get back on the road as soon as possible," he wrote at the time.

We've been through this before and as usual, we appreciate love and support.

Clown took part in several concerts this month including the band's headline slot at Download Festival.

Slipknot itself has several live dates next month, including the Rock Fest in Wisconsin on July 14 and the Inkcarceration Festival in Ohio on July 16.
