JAKARTA - Beyoncé was blamed for rising Swedish inflation after the start of the country's Renaissance tour last month.

The superstar's decision to start a major world tour in Sweden created a jump in restaurant and hotel prices in the area as thousands of people came for the show.

He added that fans traveled to the country for two sold out Renaissance tour dates due to Sweden's "very weak" currency and a relatively cheaper concert ticket compared to elsewhere.

Grahn also mentioned that "the number of hotels and limited accommodation in the Stockholm area," added that hotels far from the capital city had raised prices as a result.

He expects the "Beyonc\'e effect" to be short-lived, with hotel prices falling next month.
