Balita's Condition Positive For Drugs Because Drinking From Used Methamphetamine Bottles In Samarinda Improves
JAKARTA - Deputy for Child Special Protection of the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Nahar, said a toddler who was a victim of alleged drug abuse in Samarinda, East Kalimantan. His condition has now improved after undergoing rehabilitation.
"The condition of the victim is currently calmer and improving at the Samarinda BNN Rehabilitation Center and will receive further services," said Nahar as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 13.
Nahar said the victim is currently still undergoing rehabilitation at the Samarinda BNN Rehabilitation Center accompanied by his mother.
According to him, the Child Protection Rapid Response Team (TRC), the Technical Implementation Unit for the Women and Children Protection Area (UPTD PPA) of Samarinda City and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Samarinda continues to monitor the condition of the victim and provide assistance to the victim.

Previously, N (3) tested positive for drugs after his neighbor ST (51) gave N drinking water in a bottle.
After the incident, N then subscribed and did not sleep for several days. This is because it was previously suspected that ST used the bottle to consume methamphetamine.
ST also said that he did not know that the bottle contained methamphetamine.
In this case, the East Kalimantan Police have named ST as a suspect and detained him. The police are still investigating this case.
