Honda Elevate Debuts Its Global In India
JAKARTA - An automotive manufacturer from Japan, Honda, released one of its newest SUVs, Elvenate, which made its global debut in India.
Honda Elevate has compact sizes such as its brothers, HR-V and BR-V. Honda said that Elvenate represents empowerment, independence, exploration, usability, aspirations, transformation, and evolution.
With Eleve's entry in the Indian market, Honda puts the SUV in segment B in India which will compete with several other compact SUVs, such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skolda Kushaq, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
Quoted from Paultan, Tuesday, June 6, Honda Elvenate has a length of 4,312 mm, a width of 1,790 mm, a height of 1,650 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Despite having a concise dimension, Elevate has a large baggage room of 458 liters.
In terms of design, Eleve has a large front goal with a light that is thin instantly similar to the latest CR-V and HR-V. Then on the back, Honda embeds the Elevate lights in the form of L letters like WR-V.
The interior has a 10.25-inch touchscreen that is already available with an infotainment system supported by the operation of Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. Also presented is a seven-inch instrument cluster display.
The manufacturer also presents several storage spaces on the central console, in the form of small cup holders and cubbys flanking the persneling lever. Other features presented in this SUV include the Honda Connect with support for smartwatches, sunsets, reverse camera, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, and Honda Sensing security devices.
At the bottom of the hood, a 1.5 liter naturally-assisted 4-cylinder engine is presented which can produce 119 dk of power and a 145 Nm torque which will later cooperate with the CVT transmission system or manual six accelerations with front wheels (FWD).
Honda will also offer a hybrid variant on Elevate with a 1.5 liter Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine powered by two electric motors with an e-CVT transmission that produces 124 dk of power and 253 Nm of torque.

Orders for Honda Elevate will open in July at a price that has not been announced. However, the estimated price for one unit starts from 1.05 million rupees or around Rp. 189 million.
