Procurement Of Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Roads Speeded Up To Village At The End Of 2023
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) targets the land acquisition for the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road project to be completed by the end of 2023.
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said the acceleration of the completion of land acquisition for all sections, especially in sections 2.3.4, and 5 of the Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road.
The goal is to accelerate construction completion, following sections 1 and 6 which have been under construction since early 2022.
"This year, my target for land acquisition in sections 2.3.4 and 5 is over," said Basuki in his official statement, Saturday, June 3.
Basuki asked that the land acquisition work be carried out in parallel. This means that one team will complete land acquisition in one section/segment. When it's finished, then continue to work on the next section.
"The land acquisition work must be carried out in parallel, not sequentially," he said.
On the same occasion, the Director General of Highways at the PUPR Ministry, Hedy Rahadian, said that his party had instructed him to add a land acquisition team.
"For construction, it is targeted that by 2024 it will be connected to Borobudur for sections 1 and 2. Meanwhile, from Bawen to Ambarawa, it is targeted that April 2024 can be connected to section 6. Section 5 I ask for an auction to be accelerated in the third quarter of 2023," he said.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT Jasa Marga Jogja Bawen (JJB). A J Dwi Winarsa said, for section 1 construction, it has started in April 2022 with a current progress of 28 percent and section 6 has started construction in February 2023.
"Seksi 1 target bisa fungif pada April 2024. Seksi 6 ditargetkan selesai pada November 2024, namun dikerjakan dapat fungsi juga pada April 2024," imbuhnya.

For your information, the Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road has a length of 76 km, and is part of the National Strategic Project (PSN).
The PSN consists of 6 sections, namely Section 1 Sleman-Banyurejo (8.25 km), Section 2 Banyurejo-Borobudur (15.26 Km), Section 3 Borobudur-Magelang (8.08 Km).
Then, Section 4 Magelang-Temanggung (16.26 Km), Section 5 Temanggung-Ambawa (22.56 Km), and Section 6 Ambarawa-Junction Bawen connected Semarang-Solo Toll Road (5.21 Km).
