Governor Of East Java Releases Exports Of Various Products Worth IDR 282 Billion
East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa released exports of various products worth US$18.80 million or around Rp282 billion to five countries, namely the United States, Taiwan, Italy, Spain, and Malaysia.
"This export release proves that the economy in East Java continues to grow and continues to rise," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 31.
The exports released by Khofifah came from PT Smoore Technology Indonesia in the form of a "vuse overflowing pod ton" commodity with a quantity of 16.38 tons worth 18.30 million US dollars to the United States.
In addition, PT Asal Jaya with 20 tons of robusta coffee, worth 150 thousand US dollars to Taiwan, PT Panca Mitra Multi Perdana with 15.24 tons of frozen shrimp, worth 126.23 thousand US dollars to the United States.
Furthermore, PT Mitra Saruta Indonesia with a "recycled" color thread commodity worth 90 tons worth 107.45 thousand US dollars to Italy, PT Pei Hai International Wiratama Indonesia with 12.5 tons of footwear commodities worth 99.93 thousand US dollars to Spain, and PT Indo Rasa Utama with 8.5 tons of cassava chips worth 21.35 thousand US dollars to Malaysia.
The release of exports was held on the sidelines of the "East Java International Trade Festival" which took place at the Grand City Surabaya, May 30-31, 2023.
"Through this export release, it is actually a trigger for our business actors to believe that exports are easy and can be done by anyone," said Khofifah.

Khofifah said efforts to expand the market abroad require synergy with the industrial, business and work world (Dudika).
"When Dudika welcomes, East Java's export activities in the future will be shorter and more productive. Likewise with imports. If those imported are raw materials for processed industrial products, the benefits will be very large for inclusive economic growth," he said.
