Hit By Ship, ASDP Ternate Falls 4 Data Divers Of Pier Damage At Bastiong Ferry Port
PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Ternate Branch, North Maluku, deployed a team of divers to see and record the impact of the damage to the first dock at the Bastiong Ferry Port, after the ship crash incident on May 10."We have dispatched four dive teams to record videos and record damage to the pier that fell on the seabed," said General Manager of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Ternate Branch, Justan Gaffaru in Ternate, Antara, Thursday, May 25.Later it will be submitted to the central leadership, to support the results of the investigation regarding the impact of the damage to the dock one at the Bastiong Ferry Port.He said the dive team was deployed to help complete data from the central PT ASDP team last week they came to Ternate City to see the condition of the damaged dock one as well as identify the cause of the KMP City Line ferry crash incident that crashed into the dock due to a lost control ship that was about to dock at the port."We collected the data and then reported it to the central leadership, regarding the amount of loss, then submitted the results to the directors of PT Mutiara Pertiwi I, which is a private company for the KMP City Line ferry," he said.He hopes that this problem can be resolved immediately by PT Mutiara Pertiwi I, so that the construction of the first dock can be rebuilt to support the smooth activities of passenger shipping and inter-island destinations for both the North Maluku region and the Ternate route to Bitung, North Sulawesi.Previously, on May 17, PT ASDP head office dispatched a team to identify the cause of the crash incident of the Ferry KMP City Line ship that crashed into the first dock.
"It will take about a week to conclude the results in the identification of the dock collision, then report to the top leadership," said the Manager of Port Maintenance and Facilities of PT ASDP Head Office, Ni Komang Triana Dewi Wulandari.
