Police Investigate Deaths Of 2 Mountains Papuans Allegedly Due To Drunk Drinks Mixed With Alcohol 70 Percent
PAPUA - Police are investigating the death of two residents suspected of having drunk alcoholic beverages mixed with 70 percent of the drugs that occurred in Undugi Village, Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Papua Mountains Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Pol Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, said the incident occurred on Tuesday, May 16.
"Now the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Puncak Police has secured evidence and questioned other witnesses for further investigation," he said in Jayapura, Papua, Wednesday, May 17, which was confiscated by Antara.
Ignatius said the hut that was secured was a large bottle of alcohol 70 percent of 600 ml mineral water and wine-energied drinks. "And what is more fatal can result in those who consume alcohol losing their lives," he said.

He explained that the incident began when the first witness saw a group of people who were having an alcohol party at the kiosk where one of the victims worked. "Then the first witness saw three people who were holding an alcohol party at the kiosk where the victim was Candra. The witness who saw this reported it to the Beoga Police picket, then the picket went straight to the crime scene to take action," he said again. He added that upon arrival at the scene, personnel found that the victim of Candra was lying stiff and the victim Jaminus had a health problem, but not immediately breathed his last.
