Slank Begins Celebration Tour 25 Album Seven In Solo 10 May

JAKARTA - The legendary rock group Slank will visit seven cities in Indonesia as part of the celebration of the album Tujuh which is one of the best monumental works of Gang Potlot's children for almost 40 years in the Indonesian music industry.

The album's 25th anniversary celebration concert will begin at De Tjolomadoe Solo on May 10, then continue to other cities namely Bhumi Marine Field Surabaya (13 May), Padang Galak Bali Field (17 May), Alam Mayang Pekanbaru (26 May), Lampung PKOR Field (2 June), Eldorado Dome Bandung (9 June), and Ancol Jakarta Ecovention (22 June).

Ticket prices for each show in each city vary between IDR 150,000 to IDR 275,000 and is available on the counter.com page.

Released in January 1998, the studio album to seven units of Jakarta's rock 'n roll was indeed quite iconic and phenomenal with sales reaching one million copies in a matter of weeks since its release.

Some of the songs that are the favorites of the Slankers or the name for Slank's fanatical fans on the album include "Balikin", "Poppies Lane Memory", "Whatever", "Kosong Sama Blank", "(While) Again Easy" and "Rain".

On the album, Slank first introduced Abdee Negara guitarist and Ridho Hafiedz as personnel to continue to accompany Bimbim (drums), Kaka (vocals), and Ivanka (bass) as the 14th formation which has been very strong to date.

In the upcoming concert, Slank will perform a total of 14 songs from album Tujuh with the addition of several hits that they often present in each concert. The plan is that the group that has released 24 studio albums will appear with different concepts and gimmicks in each city and collaborate with local heroes to collaborate on stage.
