Papuan Police Chief Ensures Police Continue To Hunt For Murderers In Dekai
JAYAPURA - Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri said the National Police was still pursuing the perpetrators of the murder in Dekai, Yahukimo Regency, Papua Mountains.
Currently, there are two perpetrators of the murder of two residents detained by the police.
"There were two suspected perpetrators of the persecution that killed two residents," said the Papuan Police Chief in Jayapura as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 6.
The two suspected perpetrators were arrested along with nine people who were at the house suspected of being the KKB headquarters in Dekai.
From the investigation carried out by investigators, it was revealed that two of them were involved in the murder of two residents who died on April 30.
Meanwhile, other cases including the attack on the cilok seller are still under investigation.
The Papuan Police Chief has ordered the case to continue to investigate and hold joint patrols, especially in areas that are considered vulnerable.

"The public is expected to participate in increasing vigilance when doing activities outside the home, including when going to the garden or selling in areas that are empty of population," said the Papuan Police Chief.
