Social Minister Ensures Rape Victims In Sidoarjo Get The Best Assistance
SIDOARJO - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini ensured that the child victim of forced assault with the initials A in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, received the best assistance so that the victim's future was guaranteed.
"Currently the victim has been handled by the Sidoarjo Regency Government," said Social Minister Risma after visiting the Integrated Service Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children of the Sidoarjo Regency Government, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 6.
Risma said that the child is currently certain to live in an undisclosed place with several children in the same case.
"All needs can be met like education. Incidentally, the non-profit foundation did not ask for anything," he said.
Meanwhile, Surati as an proficient social worker from the Integrated Center Prof. Dr. Soeharso Surakarta who was present on that occasion gave an assessment of the victim.
"The victim's father has now been handled by the police and is now in the process of the prosecutor's office. The victim has lived in one place and is already in school and conducting socialization with his friends," he said.
His party pays attention in the form of school supplies, basic needs, nutrition, and bicycles so that the victim can use them.
"The child is happy to get this facility. Hopefully it can grow and develop like other children," he said.

Asked about the trauma experienced by the victim, he said that now it has been much reduced and can enjoy the joy again.
According to him, the victim was not pregnant and is now recovering psychologically. In addition, his residence now has facilities for school uniforms and daily necessities.
