Apple Watch Interface Will Be Massively Overhauled This Year Through WatchOS 10
JAKARTA - Several major changes will be rolled out by Apple on its smartwatch, Apple Watch this year. The company is claimed to be working on a new watchOS 10 interface.
Mark Gurman, from Bloomberg in its Power On bulletin reports, Apple will bring major changes that will focus on widgets for watchOS 10.
Widget is the core part of the watchOS 10 user interface. Gurman reminded that the new design is like the Siri watch that is carried on watchOS 4 and similar to the widget stack that is likely similar to the current iPhone and iPad look.
"The plan is for users to browse a different set of widgets real-time events, weather events, stock prices, calendar appointments, and more, without launching the app," Gurman said.

Apparently, the company is also testing changes to the functions made by the Apple Watch button. Like, pressing Digital Crown can now launch a new widget display, rather than navigate to the home screen.
This move, TRUSTed by Gurman, is the recognition of a technology giant where application experience like iPhone doesn't always make sense on watches because Apple Watch apps are barely usable. Apple can make new interfaces optional.
In addition, another feature expected in watchOS 10 is an improvement in fitness tracking and a better battery life.
The change is part of what Gurman claims is one of Apple Watch's biggest software updates since its introduction and most significant changes to this year's Apple Watch, as quoted by MacRumors and GizChina, Tuesday, May 2.
