PPP Will Announce The Joining Of New Figures, Could It Be Boy Rafli Amar?

JAKARTA - Plt. Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Muhamad Mardiono stated that his party will announce a number of new figures who will join his party next week. "In the next week, God willing, there are our figures who I will announce, will join, yes, with the United Development Party to fight with the United Development Party to make the 2024 General Election a success," Mardiono told reporters at the DPP PPP Office, Central Jakarta, Monday, May 1. PPP Secretary General Muhammad Romahurmuziy gave a signal regarding who the figures will be announced next week. "There are some figures, but I think it will be more precise next week. However, more precisely, among them are retired TNI-Polri, and there is one of the nation's figures who I think is sufficient to have electability," said Romy, Romahurmuziy's nickname, told reporters at the PPP DPP Office, Central Jakarta.

Pernyataan tersebut ia sampaikan di tengah ramainya isu mengenai Sandiaga Uno yang pindah partai dari Gerindra ke Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP). Isu tersebut telah mencuat sejak Sandiaga Uno sering menghadiri acara PPP, meski ia menyatakan hadir sebagai Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif.Kabar mengenai bergabungnya Sandiaga Uno ke PPP diperkuat dengan Sandiaga yang pamit dari Gerindra pada Minggu 23 April.Di sisi lain, mantan Kepala Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme (BNPT) Komisaris Jenderal Polisi (Purn.) Boy Rafli Amar diisukan akan bergabung dengan PPP. Boy Rafli saat ini sudah memasuki masa pensiun pada akhir Maret 2023 karena usianya sudah 58 tahun.Kabar bergabungnya Boy ke PPP sudah cukup lama berembus sejak dia masih menjabat sebagai Kepala BNPT.
