The Government Has Evacuated 823 Indonesian Citizens From Sudan Who Are Conflicting
JAKARTA - The government has repatriated 75 Indonesian citizens (WNI) using Indonesian Air Force aircraft, in the third stage of the evacuation from Sudan. "Most of the Indonesian citizens who were evacuated were students and three of them were Indonesian migrant workers," said the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a written statement, Monday, May 1. Previously, the government had succeeded in repatriating 385 Indonesian citizens on April 28, 2023 and 363 Indonesian citizens on April 30, 2023. The total number of Indonesian citizens who were successfully evacuated from conflict areas in Sudan was 823 people, consisting of 555 men and 268 women.
