Washing The Warehouse, MU Sells 18 Senior Players Including Harry Maguire
JAKARTA - Manchester United (MU) are reportedly ready to sell as many as 18 senior players this summer. Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag is ready to make a massive overhaul before next season.
MU is ready to consider selling Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Scott McTominay, Fred, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Jadon Sancho if any offers come in for them.
David de Gea can leave as he is free of transfer, as can Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe.
Brandon Williams and Anthony Elanga can also leave. Meanwhile, loan players Eric Bailly (Marseille), Dean Henderson (Nottingham Forest) and Alex Telles (Sevilla) will be allowed to leave.
The duo on loan for Wout Weghorst (Burnley) and Marcelo Sabitzer (Bayern Munich) can be returned to their home clubs at the end of the season.
The performances of these players were considered not to meet expectations. Finally, MU had to be eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Europa League 2022/2023 after being defeated by Sevilla.
