International Astra Distributes Dividends Of Up To IDR 25.9 Trillion
JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) has agreed to distribute a dividend of 89.49 percent of the net profit for the 2022 financial year. This amount is equivalent to IDR 25.9 trillion or IDR 640 per share.
President Director of the Company Djony Bunarto Tjondro explained that the total dividends included interim dividends of IDR 3.56 trillion or IDR 88 per share that had been paid on October 31, 2022.
The remaining Rp22.34 trillion or Rp552 per share will be paid on May 19, 2023, to the company's shareholders whose names are recorded in the Company's Register of Shareholders on May 8, 2023 at 16:00 WIB.
"Dividend payments will be made by taking into account tax provisions, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and other applicable capital market provisions," said Djony quoting Antara.
He continued, the company determined the remaining net profit for the 2022 financial year of 10.51 percent or equivalent to Rp3.03 trillion as the company's retained earnings.
In the AGMS, the company also approved and received the Annual Report for the 2022 financial year, including ratifying the Supervision Report of the Board of Commissioners, and ratifying the Consolidation Financial Report for the 2022 financial year which has been audited by the Tanudiredja Public Accountant Office, Wibisana, Rintis & Partner.

In addition, all members of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners have been given payment and full release of responsibility (acquit et decharge) for the management and supervision actions they carried out during the 2022 financial year, as long as these actions are reflected in the Annual Report and Consolidation Financial Statements for the 2022 financial year.
The issuer with the stock code ASII posted a consolidated net profit, including an adjustment to the fair value of investment in GoTo and Hermina, amounting to IDR 8.7 trillion in the first quarter of 2023, or an increase of 27 percent year on year (yoy) compared to the first quarter of 2022.
The company posted a net income of IDR 82.89 trillion during the first quarter of 2023, or an increase of 15 percent yoy compared to IDR 71.87 trillion in the first quarter of 2022.
