Magic Contest Releases Thousands Of Memories And Holds Prime Tour

JAKARTA - The Magic Competition released a new single titled Thousands of Memories on various digital streaming services on April 13, today.

Different from the previous song which was attached to the alternative pop distortion of sarkastic, this time the Magic Contest penetrated into a more fun and symplistical musical territory.

This work, written by the Magic Contest, produced by Enrico Octaviano and Rayhan Noor, tells about how memories of joy and grief can be a lamp of light as well as a foothold today.

"Our latest work, entitled Thousands of Memories, marks a new 'kutub' for us. Approximately four years after we became a band - including two years after we released our first album - we assess that we have navigated the growth and development that is not an balang., both in terms of emotions and in terms of creation," they said in a written statement received by the editor.

Through Thousands of Memories, the Magic Competition also strives to provide a more optimistic perspective on life and produce musical narratives that are contrary to the sharp humor they offer.

The Magic Contest was inspired by the energy of old bands such as Blinkie and No Doubt.

"In short, we want the song Thousands of Memories to bring sad and happy women, which is also a manifestation of what we are feeling now," said the indie band from Jakarta.

"We think we are in a much better emotional echo than the previous day. Now we are ready to navigate a wider world," he added.

Not only announcing the presence of this song, but they are also preparing to hold their inaugural tour in the middle of this year entitled Magic Parade: The Perdana Tour of the Magic Competition.

There are four cities to be visited, namely Bandung (May 31), Solo (June 3), Surabaya (June 8), and Jakarta (June 10). Ticket sales will be announced in the near future.

"We feel these expectations. But, in the end, we will not allow our musicality to be under pressure in any form," said the Magic Contest.

"Even though we are 'only' consisting of five personnel now, we feel more and more connected to each other. We are increasingly recognizing each other and we increasingly understand ourselves as a unit. The funny thing is, now we are even more excited to mix other new works. We keep our aspirations to penetrate the global music scene - but in our own way, of course," they concluded.
