Today, Mario Dandy's Girlfriend Will Undergo A Diversion Trial At South Jakarta District Court

JAKARTA - Mario Dandy's girlfriend, AG (15) today will begin undergoing a diversion trial regarding the serious abuse of David Ozora at the South Jakarta District Court. South Jakarta District Court Public Relations Officer, Djuyamto, confirmed that AG will undergo a diversion trial on Wednesday, March 29. The plan will be held at 10.00 WIB.

"At 10.00 WIB Diversion," said Djuyamto in a short message, Wednesday, March 29.

Djuyamto also mentioned that even then David Ozora's side would still be present at the trial. He also explained that the AG diversion trial would try to make peace with David Ozora. This is also stated in the law.

"That is the order of Law Article 52 of Law No. 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. Peace is sought, if this is not possible, and the victim refuses to proceed to trial," he concluded.

Reportedly, David Ozora's team closed a peace meeting with all the suspects, including AG, in the assault case. So, the legal process will continue.

This attitude is aimed at AG, who will undergo a trial with a diversion agenda at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday, March 29.

"As we all know, tomorrow will be the first trial of AG, a child in conflict with the law, where tomorrow a procedure called diversion will be carried out," David Ozora's lawyer, Mellisa Anggraini, told reporters, Tuesday, March 28.

According to her, the diversion effort is indeed a trial mechanism contained in the rules. However, the victim may decide to refuse peace.

"The procedures for the juvenile justice system do require that, but tomorrow from the family accompanied by me we will also prepare regarding the rejection of this diversion," she said.
